As Honduras focuses on eco-tourism more than one third of the country is still covered by tropical rainforest.

There and in a number of rivers you can still find untouched flora and fauna.

You find wild creatures, rare birds, small insects as well as fierce reptiles. A great variety of flowers such as orchids can be found.
