BienVenidos

Bienvenidos is a small tour operator which specialises in Honduras and consists of the 2 people Katharina Guhl and Peter Leyhr. In spite of our young age (born 1984) we have both already seen a lot of the world. During our school-time one of our hobbies was travelling.

After both of us had finished a several years long training in tourism we spent most of the time in foreign countries. Lately, we were in Ireland from late summer ’05 until December ’07 and worked there also for an international tourism company.

Until now we only have felt at home in two countries: Germany and Honduras.

The possibility to show other people this real unknown country always appealed to us and therefore it was only a question of time until we would go permanently to Honduras.

Personal commitment

I (Peter) lived in Honduras from 2001-2002 and also visited the country many times thereafter with e.g. Katharina and therefore already know a lot about the country. Furthermore we have Honduran friends onsite who let us profit from their local knowledge.

The country gave us a lot already and of course we want to give something back. Therefore we support several local and social projects. We are happy to show you these projects on one of our tours.
